Yesterday we took the family for a picnic at Bridal Veil Falls, up Provo canyon. Kaden was so excited to see the waterfall. At first he just stood there staring at it and then of course he wanted to get in the water. Eventually we got him to settle for throwing rocks at it.
It was pretty fun, although it probably would have gone smoother had we stopped along the trail to eat dinner rather than pull Kaden away from the waterfall to eat. But things worked out.
Kaden had so much fun watching the water and all the people on skateboards or walking their dogs. For him it was paradise. In case you're wondering Jocilyn was there too, but she wasn't exactly impressed by the scenery. It was good to get out and have a little fun now that the weather is nice and warm.

What a fun little excursion! Very impressive....keep enjoying this time together before Kimball starts working. How fun!!! Bryson loves to throw rocks too....perfect for our upcoming camping trip. Plenty of rocks, and plenty of room....as long as they don't start throwing them at each other:)
What a good idea to have a family picnic. You picked a pretty park. Kaden and Jocilyn both look so much older than the last pictures that you posted! Still adorable:)
